WEEK 17: Progress
Date: 5 March 2024
Importing The Design Inside Prototype:
I import all the designs that I did in Figma via plugin into ProtoPie because ProtoPie is a little bit limited when it comes to designing the pages. So, once I finished importing, I have to go through all the pages and see if the prototype is still working or if it needs to be fixed or replaced properly.

I encountered a problem when I was trying around to try to make a 'component' of a specific interaction in a page, but unfortunately it resets the whole thing (the navigation and the interactions). It's an unfortunate event to happen because this happened on one of the page that has the most interaction. I was quite frustrated at this because I didn't know what happened. Pressing undo button will not bring me back to how it was supposed to be, so I only had one choice to fix this by redo the page from scratch.
This took a lot of time from me, but I tried my best to redo the page as fast as I can so that I can focus on other pages as well. Once I finished redo, I applied using the 'component' inside that page to make it easier to organize the interaction. I take this as a learning opportunity to learn it while redoing the interaction and it makes it easier if I want to use the same component across the prototype.

I also learned on how to use variables inside the prototype. This is because I want to achieve an outcome where the 'sealing' capsule page will follow according to what users choose. I watched along ProtoPie's tutorial in YouTube to understand how it works. Though the tutorial explains in a little bit different from what I wanted to achieve, but it does help me to understand better on how to use it. Then, I refer to ProtoPie's documentation to read more about it. After that, I managed to apply it and it works just like how I intended it to be.

3D Design Assets:
Though Womp 3D often update their software by adding new features inside, I still managed to get as much as assets done. Here are all the 3D assets that I created in Womp 3D that will be used in this project.

I had quite a lot of fun 3D modelling in Womp 3D because the tools are quite easy to use. I'm pretty satisfied with the outcome of all the visuals.
